    I got this to paint the interior of my coop from the discounted oops wrong color shelf for a significant discount at Lowe’s. If you aren’t to picky about color you might get lucky. It’s held up very well for two years now.

    Coop under construction ~ Anything I should be thinking about?

    If this is your pop door, you may want to ask your builder to raise it up a couple more inches. Otherwise they are going to drag and kick bedding out and block a door if you are putting one in.

    Everyone is fine, the shed and run are built like Fort Knox. The only thing I worry for is the occasional black bear that wanders thru once or twice a year looking for somewhere to hibernate. Luckily they've all only pass thru and dont stop.

    This is the absolute truth, because even the big chonky ones can climb very well!! This one was HUGE.

    If it will stick to a blade of grass it will stick to hardware cloth wires. And once you have build up started, the holes between the wire gaps become smaller trapping more snow.

    You'll also want to think about collecting eggs multiple times per day if possible. I have a shed that's divided in half, chickens get one half and the other is used for storage. We have electric run out to it and on the bitterest days I have a small oil filled radiant heater on the storage...
