That’s what I though the little mf is my sick one who keeps toppling forward we have a few others I will post later but I think they are girls (I hope).
Thanks for your help
Ok so it will let me do photos but not videos so here’s my frizzle rooster???
She is so much bigger then the others I think because it’s a frizzle but not sure
Sorry guys I had a busy weekend and didn’t get back on here anyway I have a new problem our littlest chicken who is significantly smaller and had leg problems from first born needing a splint as one leg was stuck out the front has started to fall forwards when walking she still eats and tries to...
I will get photos when the kids get home to help me hold them so I can get a better shot I’m pretty sure I have 3 roosters but fingers crossed I’m wrong I’m hoping the general sounds of Sydney (traffic, noisey neighbours, dog and squawking cockatoos and rainbow lorikeets) drowns their crowing...
I think I’ll give it a try when they start crowing Sydney is pretty loud so hoping the muted sound will be drowned out by the annoying Sydney traffic to tell you the truth the barking dogs and loud neighbours may drown out their crows without the collar but I guess time will tell
Thanks for this they are only 3weeks old right now I’m just trying to prepare myself for the inevitable roosters that are sure to be in the flock and being in Sydney ppl can be a little put off by anything really so I’m sure a crowing rooster might not be to welcome but I’ll do whatever I can to...
hi everyone we hatch some D’Uccle chicks just over 3 was ago and a surprise Frizzle we love them all very ,ugh and are very attached to them all I see combs on all of them growing at different rate and I was wondering how old they need to be before you can tell if they are roosters or not?
I’m...
Can I ask how long until you knew if your chicks were hens or roosters we have 8 new chicks 3 weeks old and I’m so nervous we have lots of roosters due to all the combs I see same with my surprise frizzle chick. Any info would be great.
No I’m on the other side of the world in Sydney I’m so worried we are going to have heaps of roosters and we are so attached to all the chicks they are bantams so I’m hoping between the collars and being smaller maybe they won’t upset the neighbourhood to much
Thank you for this I know it’s a little old but we have hatched our first ever chickens 3wks old now and I’m so worried about roosters now at least I have some options what brand collar did you use?
