    FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

If anyone is interested or knows someone who might be, please pass this along. Will sell in groups, singly, or whatever. I need to sell my chickens. The oldest ones should start laying soon. I've got a trio of Coronation and Light Sussex hatched in mid November. There's one Speckled Sussex...

I need to sell my birds so the two IBs I took pics of last week need a new home pretty quick. I'm located in central Florida. One roo and one hen available.

I would be inclined to say then that the cockerel is either pure for silver or split to gold. He's not in direct sunlight so if that has any effect on coloring (bleaching out, whatever) then that wouldn't show up at this point. I grabbed hold of him yesterday and extended both wings. No red...

So you think my barely 8 week old chick is a pullet? I took a look at it again tonight and the comb is a light yellowish color, not as pink as the pictures. It's a little bugger. Has never carried itself straight up like a roo, so I'm still guessing a hen. As far as the cockerel, I took a good...

I'm curious to see what color she molts out to. I find the development of color in these birds to be fascinating.

And pictures of the suspected pullet. This one's quite a bit lighter - more lacing? - than the other chick was. Is this considered "brown"? Dark eyes and legs. I can't remember the age on this one. I know I have it around here somewhere. Maybe Anderson can remind me. I think this chick was...

I've been away for a little while, but I'm back with new pics of my IB cockerel and what I believe is a pullet. Both hatched from MrHeinz's eggs by Anderson. Cockerel at 4 months - oh and he started crowing today.

Well I'll sure look into it. I've shown dogs and horses but never chickens. Is there a cage requirement or are cages supplied? What do you think is the easiest way to wash a chicken? I'm assuming this is something that should be done before a show. . . Any other suggestions?

Thank you! I'll post more pics as he gets older. He's already showing more penciling along his chest and back. Amazing how fast they change.

I think this last roo that is pictured, though not perfect, is a good example of what to strive for, in my opinion. (Remember that I'm new to all this though, so my opinion very well may not qualify for much. lol) I also think that when you have a nice specimen that might have disqualifying...

Not all pure breeds are APA or ABA recognized though, and that was what my question was concerning. I've got an Iowa Blue I'd like to show, but they aren't APA yet.
