I have a feeling it's organ failure. It would make the most sense sadly, because of how much discomfort she seemed to be in and the sudden screaming like something just stopped working. It's so annoying and sad how delicate birds truly are. I'm glad you haven't lost anymore.
I'm at a complete loss for one of my hens today. Perfectly healthy beautiful girl and happened to be my favorite... yesterday she was fine and active and sweet as ever, this morning when I went to let them out I noticed she was laying down (I thought she was laying her first egg) but I noticed...

Just wanted to show off my new little angels I got today along with others.
Ill surely be getting more pictures tomorrow. I just couldn't resist this little beauty of a silky baby!
Then of course my very sad looking cochin too... hehe.
Forgive me if I sound a little silly for asking this, but I went and bought these.. "Cochins?" Chicks yesterday and I'm not quite sure if that's what I got. Regardless, they are adorable and I didn't want be rude and question the breeder but perhaps they are mixed? Never seen feathers that stick...
I finally got a good little shot of my featherless silky! Any ideas if it might he a little hen or Roo? Also.. no idea how i got him, hiS sisters were all very normal. He is my only, "special" baby. :-)
I hope someone can help me guess these three little hens i have raised. Tractor supply had them all in throw away ben pretty much. The little black one has feathers going down her legs just so everyone knows!
Both parents are black.. momma is all black, rooster is black with greenish tint in his feathers and blonde feathering down his neck.. and this is the color of chick i got. Absolutely inlove just curious to how it may of happened and what color she would be identified as?
the gray looks like a Easter Egger :) the top looks like a barred rock, MAYBE.. give it more time. The frizzle.. uhh.. (frizzled barred rock?) LOL! Yellow one is anyones guess!
My silky bred to my EE and she had the most beautiful chick.. deeply saddened the other two didnt make it through the hatching. Here she is. I love how she got the black body but beautiful white feathers from her mom! Only 4 toes total also.
Thank you :) she/he is very loved by everyone so far. Momma hens (I have two silky hens that are sisters who decided to sit the eggs in the same nest box..Oh, and the one sister didn't become a "broody" till 3 days before the chicks were born and you'd swear she'd claim she did all the work...
