Bumble foot?
So Google did say there would be pus, but when I treated my chicken’s bumblefoot, I never saw any, so removing the scab should be good enough. If it was a worse case of bumblefoot there might’ve been pus.- Blue Raptor

That does look like bumblefoot. I’ve had to deal with it before. Here’s what google says.. You should check on it daily afterwards to make sure it doesn’t get worse or come back. You can use vet wrap to make sure it doesn’t get dirty. :)- Blue Raptor

My dad ate it, and let me try it when I was young. I don’t think he was expecting me to like it though. 😂 I’ll typically cut it horizontally and put a little bit of sugar on the top, it’s really good that way, but I can get that not everyone will like it.- Blue Raptor
