    I bought 16 this Spring from TSC and only had 3 survive to be interduced to my other chickens . Mine were their assorted bantams and premium pullets. I have never lost that many chicks every morning I would wake up to dead chicks . I think the hatchery just sucks . I won't buy from them again

    My chickens are a pet flock so mine are named . Except extra cockerels. I currently have 9 . 2 roosters Big Bird and Hei Hei . And 7 Hens/ pullets Stella , Polka dot , Wednesday , Pepper, Chicken Nugget, and Thyme.

    Does introducing a rooster change the hens disposition towards you?

    I added 2 Silkies roosters to my hens , and my hens are still friendly . I do have mostly Silkies, Silkie mixes and bantam Cochin though . Even my Roosters are polite and pretty friendly considering other rooster breeds I've had
