Hi, welcome! No worries, not awkward or strange at all, come right in. This is my first time doing an InkTober theme with a group - I've tried to follow prompts before, but never stuck with it too well. This year I'm sort of just picking and choosing, trying to get my creativity back into gear...

I think I will use the Greater Racket-Tailed Drango I like him quite a lot! The style is lovely, plenty of detail while still be simple and nice.

Yes, I did! I am planning on implementing that next time, and leaving more things out that he'll be interested in.

    Dog thread!🐾

When we visited my family in May, Sable kept trying to give a rabbit skull to Jäger... With the brain still inside... 🤣 Widdle wabbit snack.

    Dog training thread

Yes, we thought carefully about getting a puppy knowing we planned to have children soon. My husband found his childhood dogs to be a fundamental experience, and I do think it's wonderful for children to have dogs around. It's also good for children <1 year of age, because such exposure can help...

    Dog thread!🐾

Re: Loose dogs. We've only had to deal with one unwanted loose dog with Jäger. A tiny, yapping rat dog. We call him the Mexican Rat Dog because his family down the street is Mexican, and I'm not sure he knows English. 🤣 Anyways, Jäger has made a couple of sounds at him (we've run into him once...

    Last Photo You Took?

Me standing over a junkyard engine with baby bump in view. Only 16+ allowed in, so it's for later to tell our son "yeah, you've been to a junkyard!". It was my first time, too. 😂 DH would love to do it with the kids, it's too bad about the relatively high age limit.

    Cloudy's Mystery Hatch-a-long ~ Pt. 1 + 2!

I'd love to hop in and adopt an agg from the second batch, if you wouldn't mind tagging me when you number them! I've been wanting to join in on a hatch-a-long for a while, but I'm always too late. 😅

Name 3 Things You Did Or Will Do Today

We got that nice steering wheel (which was hilarious to watch him wrestle off), an air intake box (MORE POWERRR, we recently changed the throttle body on my Lincoln too, which makes it respond more quickly), and some interior pieces for another vehicle. It was a great time!

I missed this notification, sorry! We are preparing the nursery, yes! We got the one dark green accent wall painted a couple of weeks ago, and we are actually going to rip out the 22+ y/o carpet and replace it with vinyl planks. Some kind friends from our church gave us a crib, dresser/changing...

Name 3 Things You Did Or Will Do Today

Today I went to the junkyard with my husband! I'd never been. It was fun, and we got some good "loot" for our vehicles. I now have a much fancier steering wheel in my Lincoln! We will go to a party celebrating a business anniversary milestone for our favorite jeweler. I might take a nap (or do...

Thank you! I was impressed, too! 😅😂 Oh yes, I know from experience how hard it is to remember all of those tiny but important details when free drawing something like that. It takes hundreds of hours of practice. The people who can have incredible talent and skill!

Ahh, that was me in my drawing basics class. 😂 I had an awesome teacher though, she never made it boring even though we had to deal with some more boring course material. This was when I was ten. Actually, the HS art class I did was supposed to be taught by her, too, but she moved so she did a...

Ooh, I'm honestly not sure that I have any of the non referenced horses lying around anymore. 😅 I have one that was referenced from my 4H horse, but otherwise, they might be gone (or at least still back in Ohio).
