How about you a)tell me which auction this is (I'm assuming the only one around) or b) just let me pick them up! I'm no perfectionist, and I'm sure that even your 'cull' or 'auction' birds would be a beautiful addition!

Beautiful blue barred wyandotte rooster.
Purchased from a reputable wyandotte breeder on 4/15/10. This is a new line of wyandottes they have started breeding, and he is absolutely stunning! I have too many roosters, so a few of them have to go.
Pick up only, please. I will be happy to...

very nice . are you going to ship eggs next year? I'd love to get some.
I highly doubt it. I may keep one of the boys, just because they're pretty and have great temperaments, but I've never considered breeding or selling eggs. I only have 38 birds, so I just tend to buy what I...
I finally got some pictures of my barred blue wyandottes! They are right around 16 weeks. I ended up with two that are that age, and one that is about 12 weeks. Here are the older two:
I'll be posting one of these guys for sale soon. I am roostered out!

I have always purchased from Paul's Poultry. Jesse and Tracey have always been more than kind and professional, and I have been extremely happy with their birds. I have never once (in more than three purchases) gotten any birds with illness, mites, etc. They have all been healthy...
Funny enough, I actually got them from Jesse (we live very close to each other). They are stunning. I asked his wife about them, and she said they had gotten a few. I will definitely post some pictures, hopefully the weather cooperates and I can get a few tomorrow. As of now, it seems to be...
Just wondering if anyone has ever seen any barred blue wyandottes? I happen to have stumbled upon a few, and don't know if it's common (or desired, for that matter). Any ideas?
Hey morgan! I'd say they are 7-9 weeks. (I'm kind of using the size of your waterer for comparison). The look like they're right in the middle of my two age groups. (One group hatched 3/14, the other hatched 4/19)
It looks like your second little blue may be starting to develop some pretty little waddles...
I currently have 13 Blue Wyandottes, my first batch is approximately 13 weeks old, and the second batch is about 9 weeks old. It appears that they are pretty easy to sex at the 7-8 week point. They...
I would try Terramycin ointment if the warm water isn't working. You can buy it at most feed stores/TSC. Should run you between $12-$15/tube, but it's worth the price and a little goes a long way! http://www.jefferspet.com/ssc/product.asp?CID=0&pf_id=229 <----What it looks like
Are the birds...
I think you're on the right path. You can also try picking up some terramyacin ointment at your local feed store or TSC. It has worked wonders for me when something like this (usually respiratory related) occurs.
It totally looks like a pullet to me. The comb is very small compared to what I have seen in my BLRW, SLW and BW and still seems to have some of that 'blackish' color that fades more slowly in the girls.
GL!
I have had one set of SLW, 1 set of BLRW and 2 sets of Blue Wyandottes.
Here is what I have noticed:
SLW: Sexing is pretty easy. I got my birds at about 6 weeks and the roos had bight red combs. The pullets still had dark, blackish combs.
BLRW: My last batch consisted of 2 pullets and 3...
