I need to get out of the socialist republic of NJ. they are taxing the crap out of me. I have been looking at south carolina, they are 44th in the country for taxes, and property is reasonable. so please tell me what I don't know. What are negatives?

lowes and depot carry Smart Siding it's about $18 a sheet 4x8 it is pressure treated osb T1-11 it comes preprimed and is garenteed for 30 years. I even used it for the roof of the coop. It's been there for several years, never painted and shows no wear.

i wouldn't keep them out too long, if momma was with them they would have a portable heater to get under when ever they wanted. if it's gonna be for more than 10 min or so i would run an extention cord out and put a light in there for them.

if it doesn't say it, than it's not food grade. it has to do with where it comes from. not food grade can be very toxic. they will all kill bugs. but only food grade is safe to injest. they also all say not to inhale dust (even food grade) I choose to ingnore that part.
