    She kept them in a 4x8 pen in the barn. They went out in the yard pen a few times a week for 3-4 hours to eat grass and bugs. She had 3 Cornish X and a LF Silkie Cockerel that was being hen pecked in his coop move in with them.

    Pullet or cockerel? I've thought pullet until today when I caught it crowing. My other bird is an obvious cockerel with out a doubt. They are the same age and from same breeder.

    I placed my system 6"-7" off the ground for LF Cochins. Put a 5 gallon bucket with plastic valve and clear tubing to PVC so I can see water.
