That pic's a couple of weeks old, she has more mottling now. I guess a hen is not the best option lol The only other mottled I have is my frizzle roo. Guess I could wait and use a smooth feathered roo from those two.
Question....what would/could I expect by putting a black mottled in with my millies? There's not a lot of barring on my pullets. Thay have white tips, with a darker brown "v", not black v.
I have a color question. I have my black mottled frizzle in with a mixed color flock. I'll be seperating colors later. So now I have 2, 1 month olds hatched from him over my blue girl....I thought I would have blue and black solid color chicks split for mottling. I'm seeing little white tips on...
