If I lockdown on day 19 instead of day 18, will it harm the chicks? I am a school teacher and day 18 is on a Sunday and do not have access to the building on Sunday so I was thinking of locking down on day 19 (Monday next week).
What about lockdown a day later? Like day 19? I am a school teacher and do not have access to be able to get into the building on Sunday (Day 18), and will need to do day 19. Thoughts?

Power came back on sooner rather than later. The humidity was pretty high when i went back and checked on them and the temp was a little low. Thank goodness the power came back on very quickly.
A transformer blew near my house and my power is out. They can’t get it back on until 6:45. Will my eggs be okay? Would taking the incubator outside to keep it warm in the sun work? Would it hurt the eggs? I’m a little anxious about what to do and if they are going to be okay. Any help or...
