Update: the dogs are totally fine. I was just overreacting like I always do. The cow dog sadly passed away from cancer a few months ago which was unrelated to rabies. None of my dogs have rabies. I probably just needed to take my medicine when I wrote this post.
Just wanted to apologize for my past posts. I have just the worst anxiety about animal's health. My dogs are fine for the most part, except for my cow dog who has sadly passed away from cancer not long ago. The rest of the dogs are completely okay and healthy, I was just overreacting. No they...
I have two new pullets, who are kept separate from my flock. They are about 2 months old and there is a black pullet and a white pullet, both appear to be okay but the white seems to have a pale spots or patches on her comb such as on the crease of the eye and on her ears I think that's what...
ah. I just flipped them over and looked at them trying to find the vent (and i couldnt) i did not hurt them in any way. I thought that was the right way to do it i am so sorry
I just got two ducklings today. Is there any way to tell the difference between the male and the female without venting? (I tried that and i guess they aren't old enough) It looks like they're just a few days old. They seem to be rouen or mallard ducklings
Hi! My pullets recently started laying eggs. I have 5 of them. I got them last year. Today I collected 3 eggs and they seemed to be from different chickens, which is new. 2 more apparently started laying today. I got 1 normal brown egg, one small white oblong egg, and a small cream or beige...
Hello! Sorry if im a bother. I have 2 female muscovies and one of them is incredibly nippy. The one that bites sometimes bites the chickens and sometimes the other female (i only let the ducks and the chickens out together when supervised) and seems to be trying to mount them kind of? Is this...
hi! yes I know this sounds silly but i have noticed my lavender muscovy duck seemingly bite at the air and sometimes making clicking noises. Is it normal for muscovies to do this or is it something serious? I did see her sneeze one time so could it be a respiratory thing? I haven't seen any...
yeah that could be it-
she also bites at the lavender ones feathers and neck sometimes. one time while they were in the pool the drake and the black one were both pulling at her neck for some reason.
okay so i have two muscovies which i was told were both female
I have a black one and lavender one
the black one seems a little wider than the lavender and seems to dislike my drake
i apologize for the mess in the pictures, we are cleaning up the yard rn
im also kind of questioning the black one too. she doesn't really hiss or make too much noise (or at least i haven't heard a hiss whenever im out there) but she does quack she bites and nips at the lavender ones feathers and neck sometimes and doesn't seem to like the drake too much and chases...
here's her and my drake and also one with the black one, it looks like they're about the same size i think. i dont know if this means anything-
i think she would be a lot bigger if she were a male though
