    Yes you can ice the water and it will be good for them.

    She could not be drinking water if you add some black sunflower seeds to a bowl of ice water it will encourage them to drink.

    The chicks I think are doing well I put them under her at night in the hutch when I moved them all. She is sitting on them and showing them how to eat it is so fun to watch. This was a good experience and so fun to watch.

    I have two one week old chicks that I hatched and 4 chicks that hatched today under a chicken. He have 1 hutch for them and we do t know if the mom would accept them. Would she kill them? Or would she be able to recognize them?

    the chick is alive and as fluffy as ever I think it was just poop the back end of the egg was stuck on for awhile so he may have just had to go.

    One other question when the chick is zipping is it’s beak just is the air sac or the whole body cause for this chick is beak is just on the air sac and it’s cracking around the edge of the air sac.

    Thank you! The chick has been peeping and if I put it up to my ear I a bunch of tapping inside. I see a small crack going around the top off the egg. It looks like the chick has kind of rotated around and has been cracking the egg in a circle.
