This chicken is not dead
I has a failed to thrive limp chick, I refused to let die. I packed it around 2 whole days dipping it's droopy beak in egg water, and petting it's head to stimulate its brain. It did survive, and when it laid its first egg, I was so proud, and her hench hen too.- gimmie birdies

I am going to get eggs from a friend. The rooster is a bcm but a splash. The hens are LO or LO mixes. Some of the mixes are black. I am hoping they will turn the chicks blue. Anyhow I am looking at one doz.- gimmie birdies
