I got a call from a friend who's daughter's hen was attacked by a hawk. They said it's back had a wound. I told them to keep the hens secure, and bring the injured hen in the house an put flour on the bleeding wound. The kept her in the house a few days an soon it laid an egg. Hawk
A hawk attacked a friend's hen. I made a saddle for her just looking at pics of one online. I just eyeballed the whole thing from my couch, didn't even bring a hen in for measurements.more pics of her coop.I gave her the black hen and one of the LO bu I don't know which one.- gimmie birdies

The blues and greens are not photographing well. But, the blue ones are...Belle, Jasmine, Tiana, Aurora and Meranda. I know in the pics they look tan. I did replace a light blue for a tan, because it's aircell was not solid.- gimmie birdies

This chicken is not dead
I has a failed to thrive limp chick, I refused to let die. I packed it around 2 whole days dipping it's droopy beak in egg water, and petting it's head to stimulate its brain. It did survive, and when it laid its first egg, I was so proud, and her hench hen too.- gimmie birdies
