    I don’t think the sick duckling is going to make it sadly. Egg has a crack in it tho so hopefully the hatch goes smooth. I decided to let the healthy ducklings be with mama because she was going crazy! She seems to be doing okay with them right now.

    With my experience I found that just cleaning it out and pulling the scab off worked best. It really doesn’t make that much since but it worked for me! 😂😂

    What breeds diverted from the Wild Muscovy duck?

    I was doing some research and was not finding any info on this. I know that the domestic Muscovy came from the wild Muscovy...obviously....but I was wondering what other domestic ducks diverted from the wild Muscovy? If there are any..which I read somewhere there was. Thanks!

    I decided not to because she is acting normal and I would rather not spend money when I don’t have to. I am going to watch her and if things start to get bad then for sure take her. I think she just needed some grit to work it down and she has it free choice so hopefully that will help.

    I was planned on taking her to the vet today but she is doing much better! I think I am still going just in case there is still something wrong. It’s only like $30 for a walk in appointment so I think it would be worth it. Thoughts?

    Yeah there is a vet here that will see ducks. They are actually doing a leg amputation of my friends duck Thursday. They know what they are doing. I am going to call tomorrow and get things settled. Thanks! ❤️

    Nope. I am afraid it maybe a string twisted inside and I can’t feel it. Kinda like shaking it. If you have ever seen a duck try to get something out of its throat that’s what she is doing.

    This morning one of my sweet ducks was acting very strange. I took her in to look at her and the one thing that I think is wrong(by the way she is acting) is something is stuck her throat. I looked in her mouth but couldn’t see anything. Maybe it is further down. She is kinda eating. Still...
