    Thank you guys! It's definitely quick footed like a mallard! But It's been awhile since I dealt with mallard ducklings, So I couldn't remember if the splotchy line under the solid was correct, it threw me off a bit. Lol

    Also, with mallards when they get fully feathered (not fully plumaged because both the males and females will be brown for awhile) you can sex them by the beak color!] the females will have orange and brownish beaks the males more yellow! Figured I'd let you know if you decide to raise them!

    Yes they are correct! You tell by the stripes beside the eyes. But sometimes they still throw me off a bit even as an experienced poultry person. 😆
