thank you! my 2 pigeons are brother and sister, but boy are they different! the boy (chestnut) is so much bigger but they are eating the same. he is also much more friendly. he really doesn't mind being picked up. but his sister Birchwood is the flightiest pigeon ever. her wings are 2 inches...

does anyone have barneveilders, orloffs, speckled sussex, or swedish flower hens in pitt/maple/Langley? looking for a young roo and hen of one of these breeds
do you already have chickens? if so, you can just take eggs from underneath them and hatch those. it saves you the expense of shipping and the eggs may be more viable
i had a similar problem with hen fighting over nest boxes, macaroon would sit and then another hen would come and peck her until she got off. mac had her babys and they all hatched!! but, sadly a weasel got in at night and killed them and mac was so destressed! they were 1 month
