Raising Baby Chicks: What’s Your Go-To Method?
Brooder setup. I don't get broody hens anyways, haha! I like to monitor and have the chicks near to keep a close eye on them. I've used plastic bins, a 50gal Rubbermaid stock tank, and a dog crate. I've only used pine shavings and puppy pads, and I prefer the puppy pads as they're easy to take...- Tookie

Not a RIR. Its harder to ID chicks, so time will tell. Could be some sort of production breed though? Just a guess.- Tookie

Hello, and welcome to BYC! Nice to meet you. :frow :welcome I got my 7 ducks from Metzers, I have 3 Welsh Harlequins and one of them is quite a bit smaller than the other two, so size may just vary. I have 2 Buffs as well, and they are they funniest! You'll love yours I'm sure.- Tookie
