I only feed what my chickens can clean up by the time they go to roost. If there is extra feed left by the time they go into the coop the next day I would feed less and less until you find what amount is right for you. This will help with waste along with keeping down the rodent population.
I've kept bantams and large fowl together on several different occasions, and have never had an issue. Just these last past three years I've kept Buckeyes and Seramas together.

Some kind of scraggly looking rooster, possibly a white rock the others are game hens. They will be pretty decent layers in the spring and summer, and make excellent mothers.
American game fowl. If you have other roosters, I would recommend keeping him away. It will not turn out good for your others. However, if he is your only rooster, he will be a great flock protector.
