I checked Murray, and didn't see any coturnix for sale.what I am doing now is buying eggs. But I just lose so many in the shipping that it would seem better to just but the already hatched chicks.
I am interested in purchasing around 100 jumbo brown and or A and M quail chicks and cannot find anywhere to be able to buy these birds! Does anyone know of a place to buy about 100 of these birds and get them shipped?
I want to use the birds for dog training and we once used standard smaller size quail in the past and they worked much better for dog training than the jumbo sized.
I know this thread really isnt for this, but i cannot find standard sized coturnix quail hatching eggs anywhere and figured I would reach out on here; Does anyone sell or know of someone who sells standard size coturnix quail hatching eggs?
I know stromberg chickens does, but they charge you...

Good afternoon,
I am trying to raise about 150 or 200 coturnix quail for dog training and am looking for eggs from normal size, non jumbo coturnix quail and cannot seem to find just normal sized eggs anywhere. Does anybody know where I can buy non-jumbo quail eggs? I have heard that the normal...
Well, my pond does have a sloped edge, and i even put ramps and little floating houses so in case the birds went in they could get out easily. But, the birds didnt even try. It was one of the most pathetic things i have ever seen, the birds would all be flying or running from one side of the...
Yes, it was adult birds. I had 16 and all but three had drowned in less than a month. The aviary is not little either, it is over 36 feet long and 15 ft wide, so it wasn't like they couldn't have gone away from the pond.
Does anybody have water features in their quail pens? My aviary has a big pond in the middle, probably about 1000 gallons, and all of my quail kept drowning in it. Was this just my problem or is it universal? Thanks in advance
Good afternoon,
I have a problem, in my aviary I have probably a dozen white homing pigeons, the pigeons only come into the coop attached to the aviary during the night and in the winter, otherwise they fly around all day. But anyway, they commonly breed, and when the babies are old enough to...
Does anyone remember the links to the call duckling identification chart that was on here a while ago and the link to the website that has a call duck color breeding guide
Hope fully next time! I have my next batch due in either a week, or two. I put the number 8 on all the eggs, but now I can't remember if that is the date they are due or the date I put them in.
I'm gonna have to upload a few pics of the surviving duckling. Might as well saying he keeps me up with all the peeping. Curse you tsc for being closed on Easter and not allowing me to buy my duckling some buddies! He is almost copper in color with a dark silver head. I got some new ducks (spent...
Only one egg made it and it was the egg that hatched out on its own. The one eggs (which I think the bad fogger actually dripped water on) was so sticky there was nothing anyone could do. And the second was not very sticky but mal positioned. Thank you @Lacrystol for all your help, it was very...
