You could take the chicks to the brooder and let her hatch the eggs. Depending on the size they can all go under the mother once the eggs hatch. GOOD LUCK!!!

I dont think my goats bled so much last time I gave them a shot, Just a subq but I went too much at an angle. Is it that abnormal for the goat to bleed a bit like drops after being givin an injection of ivomec?

I find if my chicks have a nice solid poop it never has a chance to stick to the butt feathers but if the poo is watery it hardens on the feathers and creates a chain reaction of more poop sticking. Many say oat meal mixed in food helps because it makes the poop harder. I also noticed just...
That is very true.... fencing is one of the most important conciderations in having these curious naughty little critters!!! Some are crazy like us and let the animals wander with supervision. Then again the hubby is just as crazy as me and we crack up at stuff like that:)

One of my favorite mixes, you never know what you will get. We once had a medium sized chick with regular feathers but a funny tail and what we called a mo-hawk. Enjoy your mix they are the best
well I also want to thank those who both support my choice and also those who dont. I like to question my own opinions with good arguments. Although I dont think having a who cares attitude will ever change things. I am lucky to be surrounded by people who have some of the same values, especialy...
