Thanks for the explanation! She came from an auction, and we always have a soft spot of the oldies that end up there... so we brought her home, as she had lived in a cage for of her life (as per her discription). We figured she would only last a couple months. However we've had her for years...
The Roos in this batch were "supposed" to be dinner. But I have a feeling Ill be keeping most of them LOL
I "wanted" to keep one.... but I have no idea how Ill pick.
The other Sussex is obviously a gal.... with that super light comb... right?
Which is why Im guessing the one with the bigger (and slightly darker comb) is a Roo... but I suppose only time will tell LOL
You all have me second guess all my chicks now!
So are these Wyandottes?
Pullet (?)
and this pullet (?)
and this pullet (?).... who has a different has the other two
The gal on the right we bought as an adult "barred rock" and the one on the left we bought as a "cuckoo maran" chick.

The "Cuckoo Maran"
"Cuckoo Maran" on left, "Barred Rock" on...
I made off with some of my mom's hens for my coop.
We bought a couple "Ameraucana" pullets a couple years ago... but I have no idea if they are pb or not.
We got them from a local Garden Store that ordered from a large hatchery.
