just a question have you wieghed the eggs before incubation?
as a bigger egg should equal a bigger quail,
i incubate 13plus gram eggs (13-14 gram eggs, sometimes i get 15 grams)
the 10-12 grams used for eating.
as im from australia , its hard finding good meat quail...

havnt been on site for a while, been hatching jap quails,
still trying to perfect the jumbo sized quail,
with worming i do that once a year, as my quails are on wire floor.

had 67 hatch from 100 on sunday , not bad being winter eggs, just a thought, with your hatched egg shell what do you do with them???
i put them in a container and crushed them up into fine small pieces ( quail egg shells) and feed them back to the adult quails.
anyone do this?
