Me too. You probably don't remember but she & her sister, Alpia, were chronic broodies their 1st year. Unbreakable. 🙄 It's so nice to be able to give her fertile eggs & let her sit to some purpose.
No. She stole an Aracuna egg so was sitting on 2 blue & a brown- not that it matters any more. I was out all morning & came home to find Wrold off the nest & out in the coop with her chick, the extra eggs stone cold. I'd say she is done.

I have one egg hatching! I can see the beak & some of the feathers. She looks a bit like Cobweb. I'd about given up thinking all the eggs were duds or Wrold had done something dastardly along the way.

My resident currawong has built her nest in the ficus that overhangs the chicken coop.
She is fiercely territorial but seems to understand the chickens, the cats & I are now part of her territory. She does not harass us. She does steal the occasional egg but what's an egg or two between friends?
I lost Sweetpea yesterday. Not really a surprise. She never regained her mobility despite everything I tried. I think she enjoyed her life, such as it was. She had a good appetite & was always excited for me to lift her out of her crate & settle her somewhere in the pen with food & water...
Perhaps... Henry is very taken with Alpia. As a non-chook I see that all my super strong personalities are now gone and what's left are sweet, non-aggressive, non-dominant girls. The flock is now mostly really, really young. World, & Alpia are the oldest ~5/6. Chavi is 3/4. Everyone else...
