Hi, I ordered some chicks and just got them shipped in today, and apparently one got dropped from a couple feet off the ground. It went completely limp, won't open its eyes, and has been breathing very heavily for the past couple hours. Its beak is getting progressively more and more purple...- Bella the Chicken Lover

I have a chick that has a unabsorbed yolk... I've been hatching a lot lately and usually don't have any problems, but this time its about the size of the t ip of my pinky, and I don't know if its okay or not.. Update: shes still laying normally, but I noticed her poop is turning runny, unlike yesterday. I soaked her in an Epsom salt bath again for 20 min, put triple antibiotic on it, and wrapped her up.. I know I have to get rid of the scab, but still not sure if I should cut into it because her whole... -

It seems like the scab is curving into the foot.. I wasn't sure what to do, so I soaker her in an Epsom salt bath, but triple antibiotic on it, and wrapped it up(not too tightly).. I'm not sure what to do, I'm afraid to fut the scab out because it's so big. She's acting like she's fine, walking... -

What breeds are these?
I guess we have these now too... looks like some pullets but don't know what breed. They said its a cream legbar but after looking at some pictures of them, I'm not completely sure.- Bella the Chicken Lover
