i sent a picture but i don't see it here.
i finally sold my chicken plucker. we bought it from a guy who retired from his chicken farm . that was 55 years ago. the plucker has plenty of "patina" but it works like new. glad to see it gone and glad it will get used. it is not a toy like the ones...
I finally sold the chicken plucker. glad to have it gone and glad someone can use it.
the Packers squeaked another one in.
they should give both teams 21 points and then let them play for 5 minutes.
cool start to a nice day. 47F / supposed to get into the 60F's today, will be our last "warm" day for awhile .
i pulled all of the radishes and took them to my sister. i don't know if they are woody or not. she will let me know.
i did sell the chicken plucker. glad to get rid of it and...
Barb, glad you have such good friends.
Storm doors have a flimsy spring in the handle that like to come off their pins. or break. sometimes a squirt of 3in1 oil will fix it if the spring is just stuck.
if all fails, after you get sick of using the screwdriver, you can just replace the handle...
we are about ready for winter's snow.
my sister likes radish sandwiches, so i am going to gift her with a bag of radishes. i haven't checked them for over a week. i hope they are still edible.

yesterday we got the branches of the fallen pine trimmed off and onto the burn pile. just the main trunk to do. might cut that into firewood.

want to get the dog...

i imagine the pine cones have to line up the long way parallel to the pick up wires. a pull behind lawn sweeper might work.
Annie lucked out today. we were just getting the first tub planter lined up to move to it's winter quarters, bro Dave drove into the driveway. She hugged him and gave up...
i got the peppers picked. there were a lot more than i thought there would be. i can start moving the tubs to their winter quarters .

this is one of my radishes that i raised in rabbit manure in the raised beds. the big green grape is for comparison.
the radish was not hollow, woody or wormy. i don't like the skins so i peeled it. it was mild with a sweet taste.

neither of us was too hungry so Annie ordered just one shrimp dinner. she ate the cup of soup, we split the ff, shrimp, cole slaw. it was plenty for each of us.
the people there are so friendly. they even brought...

tie a towel in the handles to remind you not to open them.
