I hemmed the dress I made a while back.
I just realized I left my iron on for the last several hours. Thank goodness it's sitting upright.
I will finish the skirt I started making for my sister a while back.
The most egregious example was the family in front of me. Their children were throwing around the new hymnals, talking aloud, fighting in the pew...while the parents just played with the new baby. At one point they were even blowing in its face (making it cry) and laughing about it!
I have one (two of them, actually) that were made in England, but I think the company went out of business. They are like this:

I really wish I could come down and help you! I've done it with our own house/storage unit several times. When our things were in the storage unit, we didn't have dust, but we had mice droppings everywhere (and sometimes a live mouse!)
I use the keep, donate, trash method too. I have two...
I went to Mass in a beautiful old church with a horrid congregation.
I drove throughout the Virginia countryside looking at different towns.
I successfully made it home in the dark despite a heavy rainstorm.
Thank you so much. I'll look into that.
I just wanted to ask about Jenny's weight because you said you only feed her 1 cup a day...and I feed Annie 2 cups. So I was wondering if I'm feeding her too much? The dog food bag says to feed a 60lb dog between 2.5 - 3 cups a day!
In the last two days I have added 500+ miles to my car and added several towns to my mental map by driving nearly twenty-four hours with a twelve-hour break in between.
We were able to find a rescue to take my sister's turtle, so we drove up to central Pennsylvania early Saturday morning...
OK…thank you all. I did read through all your posts.
This is what she’s currently eating.
I got her a bag of this yesterday and she did not poop on the carpet last night.
She poops on the other side of the room. I guess she’s progressed that much.
Is this more of a “natural” brand? Because...
She’d take a diaper off the minute I turned my back. When she got spayed she even took her e-collar off!
They did seem that way, from what my family says. I wasn’t there.
When she goes to the vet to get her next shots I will ask them. Actually, I’ll just call them Monday and see if they can...
This made me laugh, at least!
How do I teach her to know she needs to go, then?
Incidentally, she doesn’t ask for water either. She can and does beg for food, but it’s not a demand like Eva does.
This only happens at night, when I am sound asleep. Never in the day, probably because she follows Eva when Eva wants to go out.
I guess I could set an alarm for 3 or 4 AM and take her out…
She can sniff at and dance around her bowl. That’s the closest we’ve come to anything.
I can try…...
We did crate train as a puppy (to the extent she stayed in a crate when we weren’t watching her - and like I said earlier, I tried to take her out on a schedule) but she never whined to go out. She’s just go in her crate.
This is all new to me because Eva did whine, and took herself to the...
Ok, that brings up a question…if she was a puppy and had an accident in the house, you’d tell her no and take her outside.
But she has these accidents in the middle of the night. So how would I handle it when I find the mess in the morning?
