I actually love the shape on that guy. He CHONKY. Nice tail angle, a bit of a halo on his hackle, though otherwise his copper is pretty good. He has a fold in his wattle, and I am not real keen on the comb. Is that a double point and a small thumbprint on the blade? Eye color should be brighter...
Here is what I have had to do in the past in feeding a livestock guardian that guards poultry along with goats: I bring him meals 2 times a day. He eats the meal and I remove the bowl. If I did not do this with the younger one, he would get mad at the birds and eventually would guard his food...
when we find a breed and variety we really like, we get to gush over it. I would certainly get immediately annoyed if someone told me their generic variety bird was better, unless they could back it up. I have, in fact, gotten annoyed about it when people message me looking for black copper...

I am glad the blue silver cockerel is looking mighty fine. His silver is staying nice. If there is anywhere for the silver to be iffy, it's the wing bows on the blue silver cock birds.
oooo maybe an appenzeller spitzhaben, but that girl Gingernut really does look like an isa brown, just a wild puzzle.
Generally, you get a lot of body type from the dam side, and she looks like a pretty typical brown hen. I still lean towards the legbar mother, just based on that. Just where...
