So - this happened...
Hardware cloth. But I had a new roof added because of an addition to my run, and I think I'm going to add hardware cloth to the underside of it. I "think" the possum got in, where the chunnel meets the automatic doors of the enclosed run. The chunnel was bent, there. So I closed that automatic...- Sammster

So - this happened...
Fortunately, I clean the coop every afternoon. DH handled it for me. The nesting box has been removed. The girls wouldnt go in to roost, tonight. I had to physically put them inside. i believe I know how it got into the attached run. Its been handled. But I'm goung to do even more, just to make...- Sammster

Im a bit sad
I'm sorry. I can see you're missing her. But if you bring her home, and she doesn't reintigrate, well - and you give her a separate coop and run - then she'll be all alone. Keep in mind, too - she's been with all those other chickens, and you'd need to quarantine for a while.- Sammster

Most gardens have been put to bed for the year. I bought a cool, new hand tool that makes quick work of clearing plant debris out. -

My gardens have all been put to bed for the season. My fall beans did TONS better than my summer beans. DH still has pepper plants to deal with. My garlic and Egyptian Walking Onions are planted. I also put in a few spring-flowering bulbs. I cleared out some of my hosts, today. I'll do more...- Sammster
