    carcass is terrifying my flock

Did you cut it up to expose the meat? I throw what's left of a deer carcass into their coop and it'd be lucky to last through the afternoon. Still trying to harvest my first deer of the season, but if/when i do, will try and share a video of the mini-velociraptors devouring it up.

I have a two person deer stand currently set up, as well as my solo deer stand. I use a TenPoint Advantage crossbow, currently, but would like to eventually purchase one of them compressed-tines bow one day.

Been out twice, so far, and haven't had much luck. I see 2 bucks all the time, and several does each night around 6 o'clock. My first time out, it only took less than 10 minutes before I took a shot, but that wound up a bit low. I've redialed my scope since, but haven't had the opportunity to...

    Introduction

:welcome Welcome to the family! We enjoy trying to come up with names for some of our chickens. Our first two roosters, Barred Rocks, we named Harold and Kumar (since they seem to always have the munchies)...our next one was Eddy Murphy (since he was sometimes acting hilariously and we loved...

    For the love of eggs

Welcome aboard from a fellow Buckeye..and possibly very close neighbors..hehe. I would look around on Facebook Marketplace and/or Craigslist for a better suited coop for your flock, but keep the Omlet to use as an emergency coop to quarantine new/sick/bullying hens/roosters, or as a grow-out...

    Into chickens again.

Oh, I didn't realize that we were talking about young chicks. I serve my hatchlings the grounded pellets as well since I am concerned that the regular pellets would pose a choking hazard at this stage in their lives.
