    very cool. I was pretty close to getting racing pigeons like I said but once I priced everything out with the time clock, loft and everything plus the time involved I just decided it’ll have to wait. Plus all the race entry fees etc… I do still want them though lol

    How’s it going? The nest boxes look pretty good. I built some similar and they do use them but most still prefer to hide them all over the yard.

    Anyone know what predator I'm up against?

    Definitely a mink. If a live trap doesn’t work you can try a 110 body grip trap. That is a killing trap though so you’ll have to take it down when your birds are out and about.

    That is kinda strange. How old is he? I’ve had some that were slower to feather out before but it’s been kinda rare. I do have one stag from this year with leg problems 1 out of I think 22 hen hatched eggs. I would expect some issues here and there out of an incubator but not from a hen. 🤷🏼‍♂️
