    3 questions

Are the 3 chickens getting picked on different from the rest? different color, different breed? Chickens do not believe in equal rights and often pick on who is different. You may need to separate the different ones. Do you have enough space in your coop? Crowded birds pick on each other...

Could be she is just getting picked on. What ever the cause she must be separated from the rest. If she is eating, drinking and laying and seems well after a few days of separation you may be able to put her back. But if she is sick she needs quarantine and if she is bloody the others may...

    Rooster Missing

Before you give up do some very careful checking around your place for somewhere he could have gotten trapped in. I once had a chicken missing and found it under a plastic tub, it must have tried to land on the edge and flipped it over. He was ok but I once had one that got caught in a fence...

**Update 2/21** 2 Badly burned chickens ***Warning Graphic Photos.

The duck probably shouldn't have antibiotic laced water. Your chickens having survived a week may continue to improve but often burn victims will die many days after the initial event so be prepared. I would just make sure they have very clean quarters and food and water in easy reach. Even...

More information neeed. By trip do you mean they were ordered from a hatchery? How soon after you received them did they die? I don't think anywhere would take them for analysis but do call the hatchery you ordered from - if you did, and tell them what happened. They could have gotten...

Is this common for a hen??????

Heritage type turkeys can be very broody. And they can steal other poults or chicks to raise and they raise them well without dogs around. I even had a tom sit on a misplaced egg until I took it away from him. First time I ever saw that but he was sitting on and protecting that egg. He's a...

4 month old turkeys - how to tell toms from hens??

Males usually have bigger, redder wattles by 4-5 months, and the knob on top the beak is larger and redder and males will allow it to stretch down over the beak at times. Also try gobbling at them. Usually young males of this age will spread their tails and gobble back. Heritage turkeys grow...

    Snapping Turtle advice

Do a little fishing. Use chicken liver as bait and heavy duty poles and lines. They'll get hooked, drag them out and kill them. Or relocate - but far away from your place and in no one elses farm pond.

why does my muscovie duck not incubate her eggs

Muscoveys lay a lot of eggs before they sit on them. Thats so they hatch at the same time. When she pulls down to cover the eggs she's close to sitting. Don't mess with the nest much or she'll go somewhere else and start over. Its 35 days to hatching for muscovy.
