Yeah, I was surprised when I shot the little one. He fell and made it about 10yds before expiring. Luckily is was not thick. Headshots would definitely work better...

Pretty good meteor shower happening too, the Orionids. I saw two huge ones earlier. I've been running my camera on time-lapse, and I just clipped one. Hope to get some more with the N lights in the background. They're starting to fade now though.
You should be able to see it in your cell phone taking pics in night mode. As long as your not right in the middle of a big city. I could see it with my naked eye here....
