    #2 This cat visited us to steal food from the chickens too. She was lost, the poor thing. Took some photo’s for the pet rescue service. But they had no report of a missing cat with this colouring. After a few months the daughter of the owner spotted her and took her back where she belongs.

    I don’t know if they talk to themselves or to other chickens. The sounds my hens make are comparable with the talking to chicks if the hen found food for them. For non mothers this is kind of stupid behaviour bc the other chickens come running to take steal the yummy food.
