Have you tried the acidified copper sulfate yet? Some swear that knocks out tough crop issues. The author of the second article talked about it again in this thread.
The information in those two articles is a culmination of all there is known anywhere to help with crop issues.
I leave any questionables in there until lockdown too. I've hatched hundreds of silkies this year and never had an egg explode. That said, the first yellow one is definitely a non-starter, and I'd have removed it. By day 9, you'd for sure have signs of life and see movement even.
So, they...
Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow
You maybe already found it, but just in case, here's the Turkey forum in case you want to ask a question, have a problem, or have the answer for someone else.
We're glad you're here!
Could those nest boxes on the floor be mounted up a couple of feet to give them more floor space? Those are taking up a considerable amount of floor space. It may be 15x15' wall to wall, but it's not 15x15' floor space.
There is a black hen standing on what looks like nest boxes to me. I'd...
Did you see the reply on your other thread and try that?

We don't like to start giving advice over the top of each other so just checking as you never replied to that one.
Here are two excellent articles about crop issues...
Agreed. Just leave it alone is best.
We're in WI and deal with high humidity and below zero temps much of the winter.
Humidity causes frostbite. It could be sub-zero in your coop, and if the humidity is under 70% they won't get frostbite. Usually, more ventilation is needed, but here it...
Their address comes up to a house. That's deceptive, although could be an office. I see they take numerous forms of payment, including credit cards, which are usually the safest route.
I checked a few of their pictures and found them on the internet. For example:
The picture for their...
It doesn't look too bad but I'm comparing that to my old coop that's 5' x 20' and this looks smaller. Chickens need 4 sq feet each in a coop, and 10-15 sq feet each in a run.
When they get less than that, problems, injuries, and illnesses can start occurring
I know, but I count over a dozen chickens here, and this isn't 50x50. It seems odd there would be any issue if they've got a huge 50x50, but understandably one if it's 5x5.
If this is your coop, you maybe meant 5'x5' as that's about what it looks like unless there's more behind the camera. That would be the problem then is too many chickens. That can support 6-7 chickens and you have 18 in there. Maybe put a ladder in there and a second story if you can't do...

A 2.5 year old hen that quit laying a year ago and never showed problems until lately is rather a curious thing.
Had she just stopped a week or two ago, with that tail down, I'd think she was having a reproductive issue. That also could be what the poopy butt was, although you said it cleared...
