    I'm curious . . . were you successful at moving your turkey's nest into the dog kennel? I had a turkey hen that laid a clutch of 12 eggs under a tree in tall grass. On about day 22 a coyote got her and all of her eggs! I was just sick!

    I realize this reply is over a year after the original question, but I now have actual, factual information to share! YES, broody hens can and DO successfully hatch out turkey eggs. I allowed 4 of my hens to remain broody this year, only robbing them of chicken eggs and placing turkey eggs...
