They are absolutely beautiful. I am not sure the feathers are an issue. Probably just a genetic abnormality that makes them catch more light thus more impressive in my personal opinion.
No. It will not spread to your birds. 9r cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, snakes, rats, other random cutie pie pet here. ^_^ all are safe. Just not humans. i had it in may. Hope you recover quickly and it is mild for you.
I don't even think they have chickens. Just a board kid with nothing to do so they get on the interwebs and troll. I mean. Honestly??? That is recreational time for them??? Probably because I'm old but I just can't understand how that is fun. when I was a kid we made bombs out of old MRE heat...
From personal experience EE mixes keep you guessing. They are hard to sex because they take on a random collage of traits from each parent. Those beautiful red hens look nearly identical. So i don't know. It is possible. I know my EE with both EE parents has her own color pattern. She is darker...
They are interesting to look at and very cool. But the also stand like a roo.. wings down, like a soldier at attention. If you look at the op's original photos that bird is standing wings back more like a hen. So without clear photos of their bird it is to hard to tell if this is the same...
Could they be mixed with EEs? I have an Asian/EE mix. She did not get the EE comb. She has her mother's comb, But she looked just like her Daddy as a chick, nothing like her mother at all. I know little to nothing about PRs. I mostly have EEs. So not sure what a mix of that kind would even look...
They are very pretty. And as chicks they did look very similar to EEs in coloring so I could see how someone could mistake them. Especially if you got them from a feed store.
No i was thinking the same thing. I have some girls with round shaped but the color makes them look pointed. The op's photos are not very clear and look like they are cropped from larger shots. 😏 and i guess only us crazy chicken people got like 800 shots of our birds at the ready. :gig
You need to get a topical antibiotic. Do the soak. Then put the antibiotic on the bumblefoot. I then use polysporin over top of that and wrap it up.the polysporin is to keep it wet so the antibiotic can seep in and kill the bacteria.
I agree with you. I would never use the top one. That just looks so bad for the bird. When I use them it is the bottom style.
And to other people who are opinionated with bad facts to back up those opinions. Sometimes no matter how well an animal is cared for you will always say that the other...
