Just curious if any bycer's also have some sheep. I am interested in expanding the backyard farm but would like a sheep mentor. I have bout 2 acres of lush pasture available. I had some friends horses out here last year. They fatted up nicely. Anyone?

Just letting you all know that I am here and livin in SW reno. Doing my best to keep the chicken math under control with a manageable 10 hens, one roo, 3 drakes and one female. Looking for more female Khaki campbells!

Its another hubby creation that takes countless hours. The coop was the excuse to make a scaled down gypsy wagon. We have a small coop in the backyard with a run. The wagon will be used to get them out in the field for free ranging.

I noticed this growth about 6 weeks ago. It is not growing rapidly and is attached to the body with just the barest bit of skin. She is about 5 months old and very active. She has no other symptoms. Any thoughts on what it might be?

Just curious to know what people do with all their extra eggs. I initially was going to get 4-6 chicks that would provide all the egg requirements of my family in the coming months. Well we now have 12 chicks and 4 ducks with be joining us at the end of the month.
