It's BYC and my chickens that delay me getting my work done sooner, but it's almost always on time. Such as this doozy isn't due until 9 EST. So I could have dilly dallied another hour and a half. :gig
We have a grocery store, Charlie's Market, that puts on a great fried chicken dinner with the fixings for around $6.
Somehow this thread evades me. I bet I'd have 500 pages to catch back up but I'll just not and say I did. :gig
Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!
When we're young, we can't wait for the next one. When we're old, we're glad we got another one!
Thank you so much!! :hugs
Mornin' Janie. :hugs
We fight them here at home too. More so as there's a creek in our back yard where they breed, probably like in your pond too. We tried putting First Saturday Lime around our side of the creek in the marshy areas in the spring. It doesn't hurt frogs or anything else...

"They" always say we can successfully incubate and the variance can be 1 degree either way 99.5F. So if "they" are right, you were only off by one more degree. And if only for a couple of hours, I wouldn't think that tiny difference would permeate through the shell and to the chick for very...
I took an hour nap. I have to get this done so I'll be up a couple more hours. Then I'll let the chickens out but not shoveling so they can deal with it lol. I'll hit the hay then! Good night to you though if you're going!
Good morning, Debby. :frow
I'm sitting here working still, and watching it sleet, snow, and wind blowing, like a blizzard out there. We had 70F yesterday. 🌞
Today, 25F for a high. ❄️ Such crazy weather!
Good morning, Debby. I have not been to bed yet. I just took a break to come read something other than the court junk I'm typing. I meant to tell you I loved your fainting snowman avatar so much. Now your rain is pretty cool though!
I guess I best get back to finishing this work up so I...
