Boggy bottem bantams has them, and I know of a couple other people. I have two hens but no rooster, lookin to sell the hens if you're starting a breeding group. They were from fly fishers lines before he got out of it.
Received my eggs today and was extremely pleased with them! Nice color and shipped very professionally! No brokens, generous extras, very confident that I'll get a good hatch!
I have two genetic hackle hens that I'm selling. One dun and one red dun. The dun is a year old and the red dun is two. These girls are the last I have left of my stock so I'm letting them go to someone who can use them! The red is directly from beaverkill valley stock, the dun is her daughter...
Ok that's about what I was thinking... So is an Isabel leghorn not technically an Isabel? My end goal to my project is something like this, called Isabel cuckoo by orp breeders. I suppose it would be golden cuckoo over lavender?
Dmrippy, I'm pretty sure that's along the lines of what I was thinking when I said Isabel, in some pictures to me it looks like a dilute copper marans, but I'm sure the genetics are more complicated like you said salmon based etc. I'm so interested! So does it take on more of a pastel red look...
Hi all! I'm looking to start a project up here in WA state and not looking to start from eggs. I'm wondering if anyone would sell a lavender roo or hen or even a black split roo/ lavender hen combo or something of that sort. I'm also wondering if anyone's started using the lavenders yet to...
I was thinking about setting a bunch here shortly, if your willing to wait a bit. Or just post on the fb page for the auction that you're looking for some! I'm up in Snohomish, WA.
I have a number of fly tie chicks, this particular one is about maybe a month or two old. Whenever it drinks and eats it throws it's head back against it's back, sits there for a minute and then stands back up and does it all over again. Anyone?
I have 8 Tolbunt Polish eggs that will not fit in my incubator. Collected this weekend. Asking $50 for the eight plus $15 shipping.
Parents are from Greenfire Farms.
I got eggs from beaverkillvalley last year, a ordered a dozen and got two to hatch (he is in N.Y., I am in WA, it's a gamble) BUT those two happened to be a pair, lucky for me! His birds are extremely nice, I'll pay a picture of my roo from him. My hen just started laying and every egg has been...
Ooooo yay! I'm definitely going to be ordering from you again this spring! We love the roo we still have out of the first dozen from last spring!
What are the true bred birds?
