Hi. I have a chick that has pipped, and I can see the beak. The chick is obviously upside down. I would think this would make it hard to get out. Should I roll the egg over? The chick pipped about 11 hours ago and not much progress. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
Hi. I was about to give up on the eggs in my bator when I saw the first pip. My question is that it is low on the side. Should I roll it or leave it alone? I am so excited!!! It's a blue ameraucana egg.
Hi. Today is day 21 for me and curiousity got the better of me. I have seen no signs of movement and heard no sounds. I candled three of the eggs. At one end is a 1/2 inch transparent space. When I flip the eggs over, I can see nothing but pitch black. This is my first time. Any advice...

I have an 8-week old pullet who was hurt by a dog. We thought we had her all patched up, she is walking well, eating, drinking, roosting with others at night. BUT, now she has started this strange behavior of pecking in the direction of food but not hitting it. She pecks at the air. When I go...

I can't believe but, she can stand!!!! Not perfect, but she is getting better. Still wobbly, but things are looking good. The sling, band-aiding her legs, and patience worked.
Hi. My coondog got one of my babies in his mouth. She has no cuts, on obvious broken bones. She is eating, drinking, and vocalizing. It has been 3 days, but she will not stand. She can move her legs and scoot backwards but ends up flopping over on her side. I have her in a home-made sling...
Any advice? I have an Ameraucana chick who was attacked by a dog yesterday. No obvious signs of trauma or blood. She is eating and drinking. The problem is when she tries to get up her legs splay, at times to the point of doing a split. She falls backward trying to balance with her wings...
Hi. Anyone know what this chick is? Puffy little cheeks, feathering out white.
And this one below. White chick, with a silvery/gray tint.
Thanks so much for any help:)
