I started with ducks and six years later, added a couple of chickens who now rule the barnyard and chase the ducks away from me and try not to let the ducks have any food, etc. etc. they are cute and funny chickens but I think maybe I should try to make them live separately
i read that broody duck mamas get themselves wet before going back in to the nest which makes me wonder if there’s enough humidity from my chicken on the duck eggs and if I should spray mist them when she is off the nest. I candle them yesterday. They are all doing great so far.
I haven’t seen my geese eat any, even though there’s a humongous amount of it taking over my yard. I wish they would eat it. I asked Google if they can eat it and got this reply.
so is there someway I could teach them to like it? Is this information true anyway does creeping Charlie have good...

welcome to BYC! I can’t give you advice about an abandoned chick because I’ve never raised chicks. . I do have a few hens, but I mostly a duck duckling goose gosling person. nice to meet you- I’m sure someone will be along with great advice soon
