This little cutie hatched today, we’ve named it bee which is gender neutral, but also because of its colors.
Baby bee is australorp/silver phoenix/maran cross - i know a doozie cross!
We’ve got one more of these to hatch, then a silver phoenix/maran/amercauna to hatch plus 3 khaki Campbell eggs.
Will do! And thank you, I’m really looking forward to see what the babies will look like. Hopefully won’t lose these little ones.
I was able to get a good picture of Eagle and her hei hanging out my two bantam Roos who are best friends, Eagle is a polish and doesn’t crow.
Pretty babes.
The baby that was still hatched his mom was our australorp in the one pic next to our rooster. From what I could see poking out of the egg it had some gold to.
I have some eggs going now in my incubator they will be:
Australorp/silver phoenix/maran
Amercana/silver phoenix/maran...

So to start off, sadly baby Zoey was killed Saturday. We don’t know who or what killed her, we’ve been dealing with a few pesky critters other than the rooster.

Here is tonight’s picture of Sarah’s neck and a new pic of the new baby chick, don’t know gender yet. One of the eggs ended up being a quitter, might have another quitter will have to double check.
Yeah, she’s doing much better. Wasn’t able to get last night’s update picture, was doing all treatment alone so wasn’t able to do the pic. But it’s looking much better, it’ll take maybe a month or so for a complete recovery of the area. But she’s getting there slowly, for her name she’s not...
So am I, baby Zoey is very slowly regrowing her feathers. Eagle’s head is also doing better and still growing in those new feathers, still treating his scaley legs. I’ve temporarily put Angry Bitches treatment on hold as I walked out to a happy surprise yesterday.
Got a few more to hatch as you...
Warning graphic picture ahead!
Sarah Sanderson’s neck is looking better each day, still only changing her bandages once a day. I did add an antiseptic spray and neosporn to the mix, so with 4 different things it’s actually done better. I have also upgraded her little spot so she can move around...
Well, I got all sorts of news for tonight.
First off, Eagle no longer requires eye drops. The top of his head has healed up but I’m going to continue to treat it along with his legs as since I started spraying his head the feathers started to regrow.
Second, I left baby Zoey outside all day in...
Try to get him more tail and this is what he does to said tail…. He’s being worst then a donkey atm.
I was able to narrow down the time frame to 5:40-7:20 that it happened, we have a security cam that looks over the yard and she was fine till then and I got home and was in the back by the...
The hens he attacked are new to the flock, there was 3 new hens. They’ve been separate till Monday when the hierarchy/pecking order came into play, but for some odd reason out of the 3 new hens this one hen got singled out.
Got her bandaged up, after wrapping her neck up she was standing but...
Chaos has ensued!!! Got home from work and had to rescue one of my hens! I used the same spray on the wound but needed extra hands to get supplies to wrap it if I can.
Warning graphic content ahead!!!!!
Well I got both good and crazy news.
So it seems he didn’t fully lose his eye, with the spray I bought and started using the feathers on his head are starting to regrow and the legs are looking better.
Crazy side, my baby chick was attacked Monday while I was gone for 9hrs. Everyone including...
