Could be either as they are Goldens. Well my guys get yard time every other day now. Sometimes they get a left over rotisserie carcus to pick through maybe once every two weeks. Thinking of adding kicking chicken to some feed that they'll get maybe twice a week or so.

It's the same in my county here in Texas. I won't even make feed costs with eggs. Plus the market for farm goods is always volatile.

I have also had good birds from Cackle. Plus good customer service.

On the OEGBs. It's only two of them now the third got through the issues on its own. The other two tho aren't showing much improvement. Only their vigor is up. Neither can stand on their own yet.
