Thank NFC. :hugs
That winch named Depression has her heels dug in pretty deep right now. So I've been trying to stay busy around here, with idle hands and all. Though I'm starting to miss the social interactions, so I thought I should stick my nose in and say hi. :frow
I hope things are going...
Im sorry you had to do that. :hugs
I've put 2 down myself in the last 2 weeks. Even when it's the right thing to do, it's still not an easy thing to do.
No fun indeed. You know how kids are though, snap back like freaking rubberbands.
Your g'kids are adorable. I'm hoping to have a long time before I have any of my own lol.
How's your head feeling?
Hey there IM! Sorry for thre late response. Thre while family got sick and it hit the fan around here for about a week. I do bake from time to time but not often. I've heard duck eggs are actually better than chicken for baking. I can't wait to try them myself. :D
It sure is. Our birds have not started laying yet, but my wife still isn't sure if she's going to eat our eggs yet. "It just seems strange to me." She eats a fair amount of eggs too, so I pulled up some battery hen pictures. "This is where your breakfast comes from..."
When she saw a CCLB...
Good morning folks. IM, sorry to read about you owl issue. Hopefully they won't give you any troubles.
The following vine sounds like a great idea. My favourite has always been honeysuckle.
So these are three birds I picked up this weekend.
Sully, the Blue Birchen Marans cockerel. He's...
Yeah, I'll have some pictures for sure!
Well rain is usually a good thing, and at least you're getting paid for being tethered to your phone. More phone, more feed, more birds! :D
That's a beautiful morning sky!
How's your morning going so far? :caf
I can't wait til this weekend. I get to go pick up more birds! Saturday is another brown NN pullet. Sunday is a trio with a Blue Copper Marans pullet, 55 Flowery pullet, and a Blue Birchen Marans. All in the 4-5 month old...
Don't be silly.
I've got 2 young boys and an attention span shorter than a gnats funny parts.
I forget to respond to posts all the time.
I hope you guys get some rain soon. :fl
Short version is they are rat terriers that had a genetic "oops" show up in the 60's and the breeder was...
To each their own with the Cornish X. I can see why some people like them, but it's not a bird for me. I too like to see the chickens out scratching about. This butterball we've got here barley want to move away from the food dish. The amount of poop too! Holy crap!
The local feed store here...
