...to cook at 350F, which is common for Dutch ovens. Let’s say the temperature outside is 70F. Solving it would go as follows:
25n(70/100)=350
25n*0.7=350
25n=500
n=20
You will need 20 briquettes to cook at 350 when the outside temperature is 70F.

Boy, I had to see it with my own eyes, I do NOT believe it! The formula is COMPLETELY accurate!
Devils tooth cheesecake!
I declare the formula I came up with a complete success.
I am pausing the timer and adding eight minutes on the grounds that I need to replace the spent coals. As soon as those coals are ready, I will resume the timer.
This is it, the final test for the Dutch oven formula I came up with.
It is 92°F today, and I have 10 coals on the top and 5 on the bottom, according to the formula. I will know in 1 hour if it is successful.
If the dish comes out perfectly, then I will know for a fact that the formula will...
I have taken everyone’s advice. I put in a window and put wire on the front of it. I had to block the chicks out of the coop while I was working.
Poor little girls were scared while I was using the drill and saw. The construction is over now, so they should calm down.
Just letting you all know that the chicks finally took the hint. I went out there at 8:30 to see if I could get them into the coop as an experiment. As soon as they saw me go into the run, they all went inside as of to say “its that time already?“
I still plan to install the window, but at...
Hi,
I’m not certain if this is the right place to post this, but here it goes.
I have 13 chicks, all five weeks old. All of them appear to like sleeping outside right next to the fence very close together. They’re not going into the coop at night. I set up my trail camera, and there’s no sign...
