I was going to recommend the oscillating multi-tool. That's what I used to cut out a small door and vents in my duck coop. Yes, it takes a while but it makes a nice cut with a small kerf.
Update on the hoop house in nearly 90-degree weather. I was afraid it would get too hot in the summer, but with the opaque white cover and three vents (the window, door window, and lower south side open up) it's going great!! My camera fogged up it's so humid but the plants are still loving...
We're practically swimming in humidity over here. I was going to take photos of my mom's garden and immediately after I stepped outside my camera completely fogged up. Is it like that where you are?
This is true. Unlike chickens who can't see when it starts to get dark, ducks can and sometimes decide they want to sleep outside all night, especially if the weather is good.
IF there is enough space for them all I'd give them more time to figure it out and possibly widen and lower the ramp (photos?). Keep placing them on the ramp every night and they'll get it eventually.

Losing birds is part of raising them. It happens all the time and it is often not the fault of the person raising them. Guineas are especially fragile.
I see no reason not to keep them on paper towels and pads in the brooder the entire six weeks, as long as they are changed out every couple...
I do look at the tips like the first pic @SpotTheCat posted. I like to keep my dogs' nails very short (because of noise) so I still hit the quick sometimes. Dorie's quicks never seem to recede.
