this is Fern. She was the last to hatch. And is still sticky. She will get another bath soon. She hatched from a blue egg.

Poor Fern is the sticky one on top, Sage is the one on the bottom. Fern and sage are in a separate brooder for now... she will get another bath today. the rest of the 9 are in a brooder with 2 older chicks from a different hatch.it's hard to tell from this lighting, but the chick below is gray...

I have a GL spitzenhauben too. They are more rare.

Last 2 Fern, and Sage are out. They are still in incubator though. The last 2 were sticky. Well Fern was. It was hard getting the sticky off. She suffered 2 baths yesterday. Pics soon. 11 total.

7 in brooder, napoleon is in the left corner. Below in the incubator, 2 hatched chicks, 2 in egg.

here's the 9 eggs, still waiting on 2. Sage and fern. The 4 to the front, left, are from Ellensburg farm fridge. Back and one to right are from Twisp farm fridge. 2 left Sage and fern are from Twisp also.

9 out (first 6 are in brooder) waiting on more. Sage and fern have pips. Turkey made it to lockdown but not hatch.

Napoleon is out. 6 out so far.the one with shell on back had its toe stuck, i had to open incubator to free it so don't judge the temp on incubator. Also humidity reader is always low real humidity is 60 plus.

Yancy hatched, but the shell was attached. I took it out of the shell. Then I got a pic of Yancy and Josie.

I see more pips. I hear pecking too.

I have so many breeds, but I love my frizzles.

Or the socks. Although I love getting really warm winter socks for Christmas now.
